Cimertex was founded in 1964, in the city of Porto, by three friends with an initial share capital of 300 contos (\u20ac1500.00). From the beginning, the company was established with the purpose of supplying materials and providing services to various industries, particularly in the fields of compressors and pneumatic tools.<\/p>

Two years later, in 1966, Cimertex expanded its operations by entering the earthmoving machinery market, a segment that quickly became the company\u2019s core business and remains one of its primary areas of activity to this day.<\/p>

In 1968, Cimertex achieved a significant milestone by being appointed as the official distributor for Komatsu<\/strong> in Portugal. This partnership with one of the world’s largest manufacturers of construction and mining equipment has remained strong and unbroken for more than six decades, reflecting mutual trust and success.<\/p>

Over the years, the company expanded geographically, establishing its own branches and forming a robust network of authorized agents. This strategy enabled the creation of a comprehensive commercial and after-sales structure, ensuring proximity and continuous support to its customers across the country.<\/p>

Focus on Angola: International Growth<\/strong><\/p>

In 1995, Angola emerged as a strategic opportunity. As a result, Cimertex Angola<\/strong> was established as an Angolan-based company following the same business model as its Portuguese counterpart. Since then, the company has become one of the leading suppliers of equipment for public works and mining in the Angolan market, playing a crucial role in the country\u2019s infrastructure development.<\/p>

Diversification and New Partnerships<\/strong><\/p>

In 1999, Cimertex took another significant step in its journey by entering the extraction sector, initiating a partnership with Sandvik Mining and Construction for Portugal and Angola. This strategic move strengthened the company’s presence in a growingly relevant sector and became a substantial part of its activity.<\/p>

Over the years, Cimertex built a solid portfolio of internationally renowned brands, diversifying its offerings and consolidating its position across various industrial sectors. Among the represented brands are:<\/p>
