Over the last few years, Cimertex’s Mines Division has assumed increasing importance in the development of the company. Its activity covers the mining sector, tunneling works, drilling for fire-dismantling and for ornamental rock, as well as special foundations.

The growth of the mining operations in Baixo Alentejo and the requirement for continuous underground operations led to the establishment of a subsidiary in Aljustrel in 2008.

Up to the present day, there are four dozen technicians dedicated to the after-sales service of underground mobile equipment.
