The chassis results from a set of ingenious ideas, presenting several solutions that allow the MERLO range to offer unique features in the market. As an example, all the multi-loaders have a 70mm thick steel wheel ring on the base of the chassis to lower the load center, eliminating the need for counterweight, as well as protecting sensitive components such as headlights and hoods.

The Plus version offers a more powerful driving package, allowing for a faster travel speed. There is a reduction in the effort required to put on the engine, in heavier operations, as well as an increase in productivity, through the faster realization of the functions. This version is equipped with an electronic engine management - the EPD (Eco Power Drive) - that allows to reduce fuel consumption and adjust the RPM, based on the power required for the operation to be performed and through an economical mode that limits engine RPM. The Plus version has electronic joysticks and a complete control and load management system, through the recognition of the accessory, maintaining the machine's stability - MCDC (Merlo Dynamic Load Control).
